Little Thatch

Shorwell is in the West Wight, & was said to be Queen Victoria's favourite village on the Island.

It has picturesque thatched cottages, a 12th Century church, Manor houses, a shop and an excellent village pub within a 10 minute walk.

 

It is perfectly located to explore all the Isle of Wight has to offer, attractions such as Osborne House, Carisbrooke Castle, Blackgang Chine, Mottistone Manor and The Needles. 
All the south coast beaches are within very easy reach, & many beautiful walks can start outside the front door -
